Ally and Husseini

Both of us are citizens of Tanzania and have lived in Arusha for most of our lives. We started out our working careers as camp boys for another safari company, and worked our way up through the various staff positions to become naturalist/drivers.

We fell in love with sharing our beautiful country with visitors. We took pride in showing them our wild game, birds, and the diverse people of our nation.

Eventually we wanted to raise the bar and be involved with a finer level of safari operations. So we decided to start our own company and go for it.

When we created Unique Safaris we had several goals:

• Hire and train the finest drivers in East Africa
• Own, maintain and provide the best vehicles, specially adapted for outstanding photography and game viewing
• Acquire the best tents and equipment available
• Assemble top quality camp staffs
• Plan gourmet meals in our safari camps
• Be spotlessly clean and sanitary
• Go "Over and Beyond" with our service
• Always deliver more than promised
• Have a plan 'B' in our pocket for a rainy spell or unusual game patterns
• Carefully select other game lodges to partner with as needed
• Make it easy for you to communicate with us and book our Safari trips

Our staff are residents of Arusha, so we can all share with you the history of Tanzania, the variety of tribes we have and their cultures.

We actually take you out into local villages where you can meet the people and enjoy our hospitality. You will see genuine smiles on their faces as they welcome you to their homes and you are able to meet their families. These can become special moments when the opportunity happens.
