Ally and Hussein founded Unique Safaris in 1991 after working for other companies, where they started as general staff and worked up to become two of the best driver/naturalists in Tanzania. When they creating Unique Safaris it fulfilled a long held dream of theirs, which was to own and operate a top notch safari company, entirely owned and operated by Tanzanians.

In their commitment to excellence, Ally and Hussein see to it that their driver/naturalists receive continued education in the life habits of all the animals you are likely to encounter, and that they receive the best ornithology training available. The drivers are total professionals at driving and spotting wildlife, and they do both these things at the same time.

The best chefs available are on staff to cook gourmet meals for you each day while you are out in the wilderness areas on your safari trip. In support of their culinary skills are professional waiters, with impecable service.

And lastly, the supporting camp staff play important roles in providing you with all the comforts and service possible. They stay at least one step ahead of you, seeing that you have warm water in your wash basin as you arrive from a game drive, that you have hot shower water ready, that the evening campfire is going nicely as you gather for a bit of social time before dinner, and on and on the list goes.
